After one short month here, it has become abundantly clear that this site, perhaps this country, is not capable of rational discourse on the topic. Briefly, comments that are pro-Palestinian, or are in way critical of Israel's policies vis-à-vis the Palestinians, are characterized as anti-Semitic My advice (based on years of personal experience with these types): ignore the personal attacks, but stand your ground. Most importantly, stay on message - do not let them succeed in taking you so far off message that nobody wants to sift through all of the BS to get to the point. If it gets to the point to where it's one big p'ing match - then cut them right off. People have plenty of other places for that. They can start their own diary/blog. That is your best course of action.
