Last year, another right-wing think tank, the American Enterprise Institute, hosted a similar dialogue, in which Jordan's former prime minister, Abdul Salam al-Majali, assessed that the idea of establishing a 'federation or a confederation' with Jordan was likely to be supported by 'a large number' of Palestinians.' 07-03-07 - A rethink on the Middle East a serious strategic re think would benefit from a US decision to make this issue a priority, as the Iraq Study Group suggested and as the regional environment demands. In fact, Israel's 'law of return' (immigration policy) is based solely on one's religion. These groups hold Israel to a different standard than America when they demand that America open up its borders and then grant amnesty to those who have broken our laws. They do not do the same with regard to Israel.
