04-03-06 - UN aid workers: Gaza on verge of disaster A report by the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) warns of a lack of basic food supplies due to the frequent closures of the Karni crossing that are preventing goods from reaching Gaza from Egypt. The report also said there has been a significant increase in the number of hungry people since financial aid has been halted. Which is exactly what Israel had sought to do: "Or, they all believe that the best way to discredit Hamas is to starve the Palestinians, by degrees. As Dov Weisglass, an advisor in the Israeli prime minister's office, was quoted as saying: 'The idea is to put the Palestinians on a diet but not make them die of hunger.'" . Our government is an accomplice in this

04-03-06 - Film crew 'begged Israeli soldiers to save colleague' A statement by the Israeli army immediately after the shooting said Mr Miller had been caught in crossfire and was probably killed by a Palestinian bullet. An Israeli doctor then wrongly claimed there was a bullet hole in the back, not the front, of his neck. A "field'' investigation failed to gather any witness statements and a day after the killing the scene was bulldozed on the orders of First Lieutenant Haib.

04-03-06 - Miller 'most likely killed in cold blood' Katie Barter, sister of the late James Miller, told an inquest into his death at St Pancras coroner's court in London that the Israeli authorities had "strongly suspected" the commander of an armoured personnel carrier of lying. They also recommended the harshest disciplinary measures be taken against him. However, Miller's family were later informed that no action would be taken over his death in Gaza in May 2003

04-03-06 - If one side in a conflict goes nuclear, the other is bound to follow suit Yet, in nuclear terms in the Middle East, Israel is the original sinner. Non- proliferation must be universal: if, in any zone of potential conflict, one party goes nuclear, its adversaries can't be expected not to. No matter how long ago it was, by violating that principle Israel would always bear a responsibility for whatever happened later.

04-03-06 - Israel 'delayed' death inquiries Our government does NOTHING with regard to the deaths of its own citizens. Even when war crimes have been committed against them. This is the true testament of the power of the Israeli lobby. ACTIONS (or lack thereof), not words.

04-03-06 - IJCR Applauds U.S. Civil Rights Commission for Defending Civil Rights of Jewish Students The pro-Israeli lobbies are still trying to get legislation passed by using different language. after their first attempt failed. This has nothing to do with anti-Semitism and everything to do with the lack of control by pro-Israeli groups over speech at campuses.

Mrs Miller told the jury Israel had tried to "grind down" the family with delays and broken promises "in the hope that we wouldn't go on".
The British public are spared no information regarding the deaths of their citizens. Their press doesn't yet bow to any lobbies.

Bush?s former undersecretary of defense for policy, and Perle protégé Douglas Feith. Its purpose, according to a 2003 article in The American Conservative, was to bolster Israel?s image among U.S. university students and faculty in the face of the Palestinian intifada.
