Watching the horrible video of Alan Johnston of the BBC broadcasting Palestinian propaganda under orders from his kidnappers, I found myself asking what it would have been like had he been kidnapped by Israelis, and made to do the same thing the other way round. The first point is that it would never happen. There are no Israeli organisations - governmental or freelance - that would contemplate such a thing. That fact is itself significant.
Does this reporter not know his history? Israel has in fact abducted people in the past. Most notably, Mordechai Vanunu was abducted by the MOSSAD and brought back to Israel. The Daily Telegraph ought to hire someone who doesn't pull his 'facts' straight out of his ass.

It is reasonable to assume that in the near future nothing will happen in Europe that will cause public opinion to identify with the Islamic terror organizations fighting against open and democratic societies. The real issue here is: that this Israeli and likely many others only see Palestinians as terrorists, all of them. Whereas the Europeans do not. Israelis such as this author are more than happy for Europeans to believe that all Palestinians are bloodthirsty Islamic terrorists (like most Americans do, evidently, and not by coinicidence) - that way Israel can continue to enjoy 'support' and other perks.
